Hydra Motivational Poster

Description

Remember when Disney animated films used CGI only when they really needed to? Like when the giant Hydra from Hercules grew too many heads for one artist to be able to animate through traditional means. Or when there were too many crowds of people to draw in Hunchback of Notre Dame (which questions the excuse that Zootopia could only be done in CGI because of "too many crowds of animals"). Or when there were too many Huns charging down a snowy hill in Mulan.

Back in the 90s, Disney may have saw how CGI could be a great asset for enhancing their animated films, but it could never take the place of drawing their characters to life on paper, and 2D animation was still the main art of those films. Now the 2D artistry of their films is being overshadowed by CGI completely, and every single new character in a Disney film, from Rapunzel, to Anna and Elsa, can only exist as a computerized puppet.

When they shouldn't have to at all.

Eh not bad but even then the Hydra was just there. Well thing is 2d animation doesn't' really do well in most theaters. Times have changed like Princess in the frog i heard was good but it didn't make much money. And hey the cgi films of Disney or at least the post Princess and the frog ones are amazing.
