Last night she was telling me to get her an ice pack cause her head was hurting really bad, and I could hear her moaning a lot while I was in bed, but I thought she would be okay in the morning. But when I came downstairs this morning I was shocked to find her lying on the kitchen floor and when I tried talking to her she didn't seem to be acting like herself and wasn't really all there, so I called 911 and got them to take her to the hospital while I was out working today. Later they told me that she had a popped blood vessel in her brain, which was quite a surprise to me cause I never would have expected anything like this to happen to her so out of the blue.
I'm really worried about her now, cause with my parents being divorced so long ago and us never really having anything to do with my dad, she's like the only real family I have to be with now. Fortunately I have some close friends and neighbors who are helping me and staying with me while this is going on (one of which my mom chose to be another legal guardian for me in the future should anything ever happen to her), and we should be going over to the hospital later tonight to find out how my mom is doing.
The sad thing is: this happened just a couple days before my next birthday, so if my mom has to stay in the hospital for a while, she won't really be able to celebrate my birthday with me. And again, she's like the only family I have to be with that's able to celebrate it with me.
If anyone reads this and is able to lend me their care and support in a time when I could really use some, I would truly appreciate it.
